A Step By Step Guide On How To Grow Your Business On Social Media

October 17, 2021 By dillon Leave a Comment

A Step By Step Guide On How To Grow Your Business On Social Media

Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest – social media is a powerful way to grow your business. But there are many other ways you can use social media for marketing. In this step-by-step guide, we’ll cover using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest for marketing.

1. What is Social Media Marketing

According to a recent study by American Express, over 95% of companies in the US with more than 100 employees use Facebook for business purposes. And that’s not all. According to research from B2C companies, Facebook customers spend 19% more than customers who aren’t on Facebook.

So why is social media such an effective marketing tool?

Social media is a form of word-of-mouth advertising. When people like and share your ads or posts, it reaches the news feeds of their friends, which makes you seem more credible to potential clients. This amplifies your message making it appear bigger and better than it is. It also helps build trust between you and your potential client and fosters the idea of exclusivity – “I’m in with this brand” – or “you’re missing out.”

Social media marketing promotes your business or brand by using one or more social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. Many companies, small and large, use social media to reach their existing customers and new potential customers. Most of their userbase was obtained organically. However, for the most part (particularly in the beginning), every business buy instagram followers or Twitter or YouTube.

2. Why Use Social Media?

Social media is relatively cheap compared to other traditional forms of advertising. For example, you can create a Facebook page for your business for free or very low cost, and it can reach a large number of people in different demographics that would not be able to see your ad in the newspaper or on TV. Therefore, it goes without saying, in this day and age, it’s pretty much a given that your business should have a presence on at least one form of social media – if not several forms. Social media has become a central part of our day-to-day lives because it’s easy to access from your phone or computer while you’re on the go. We have seen many examples where using social media can be beneficial for businesses.

For example, according to eMarketer, around 76% of the world’s internet users are on social media. That means that if your business wants to have an online presence, it must be on social media.

Since so many people are using social media, it can provide a highly effective platform for reaching potential customers and earning revenue. Every day, billions of people use Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to share information with their friends, family, and fellow marketers. This makes these sites excellent places to get in front of new audiences by sharing content related to your products or services

3. How to use Facebook for marketing

Facebook is the most significant player in the game when it comes to social media. As of 2021, more than 2 billion people actively use Facebook every single month – that’s 25% of the world’s population! Therefore, Facebook is a great way to promote your business online because it offers a platform where users can create their pages which they can then use to interact with (and more importantly, share your content with) their friends easily.

The goal of social media marketing is simple: to get as many people as possible to follow you on those various channels so that they can be exposed to your content and potentially become customers. Many businesses have seen a considerable return on their efforts by creating a Facebook page and posting content for free on this platform.

4. How to use Twitter for marketing

Twitter is a social media site where users can post tweets – 140-character messages visible to all of their followers (people who’ve chosen to follow them). As of the ending of 2020, Twitter had 330 million active monthly users. Since it has such a large following, you can reach your intended audience simply by sharing relevant content on this site. You can also run ads or contests to build up followers and drive traffic to your main website.

5. How to use Instagram for marketing

Instagram is an app that lets you take photos, apply digital filters to them and share them on social media. Since its launch in 2010, it’s become one of the most popular social media sites. As of 2021, it had 1 billion monthly active users. By posting relevant content on Instagram, you can build a following for your business or brand. You can also run contests or do joint promotions with other brands to gain more exposure

6. How to use Pinterest for marketing

Pinterest is another site where users can post images of products they like – only instead of doing it on their profiles, they publish these “pins” into various topic-based boards that they’ve made public. Having a presence here allows businesses to get more eyes on their products by gaining exposure to new users. As of 2021, Pinterest had 250 million monthly active users.

Other ways you can market your business on social media:

E-commerce: Your business can sell products directly via social media with a website like Shopify or Etsy

Blogging: Social media gives bloggers the opportunity to establish themselves as an expert and earn money through sponsored messages and affiliate links, for example

Geo-marketing: Since geotargeting is becoming more popular, businesses now can post customized content for people in specific locations – such as those who live near their stores or office, etc. If done correctly, this has the potential to drive more engagement than traditional methods.

Using social media can help businesses to grow and increase their profits by getting more eyes on them. This is accomplished by using sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest to post relevant content to your business or brand. Since millions of people use these websites every day, it provides a highly effective platform for reaching new potential customers and helping you generate revenue.

Since so many people are using social media, it can provide a highly effective platform for reaching potential customers and earning revenue. Every day, billions of people use Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to share information with their friends, family, and fellow marketers.

Hiring A Facebook Ads Agency For Your Ecommerce Business

May 13, 2021 By dillon Leave a Comment

One of the most promising new digital marketing platforms for eCommerce is Facebook Ads. In fact, in a recent study from Shopify, 83% of businesses said they had used Facebook ads to promote their business. With its more than 100 million monthly active users and $28 billion annual ad revenue, it’s no wonder that so many marketers are turning to this advertising platform as an opportunity for success. Whether your business specializes in selling art online, toys, games, or anything else Facebook Ads have proven time and time again to work effectively.

With that being said, it’s no secret that Facebook is one of the best ways to generate traffic and sales for your eCommerce store. To make sure you’re getting the most out of your ads, it’s vital to hire a Facebook Ads Agency with experience with eCommerce stores. This blog post will teach you everything you need to know about choosing a Facebook Ads Agency for eCommerce, including what questions you should be asking.

Reviews & Testimonials

It’s essential to get references, but reviews and testimonials are even more important. Previous work that they’ve done for their clients is always a great way to sort out which agencies you shouldn’t move forward with.

To quickly find reviews and to get more information on what others have said about their experience, we recommend checking out the testimonials section of their website. This is where you’ll find references and testimonials from previous clients that they’ve worked with. However, this is just a starting point since most sites won’t post the negative reviews they have on their website.

You want to be able to see the best possible and then go searching for other reviews. Generally, you want them to rank higher than 4 stars on average in their google reviews (and all other platforms, really). Some recommended places for checking reviews are:

– Google Reviews
– Facebook Page reviews (including ones from personal profiles)

After you’ve done your due diligence and selected a few potential agencies to hire, it’s time to start contacting them. Once you’ve done this and have a meeting scheduled, here’s what your next steps should be during that meeting.

Explaining What Your Business Needs
Most agencies typically have the experience and knowledge to help you, but if they don’t live up to your expectations, it will be your fault for not explaining it correctly, and it will be most likely too late for them to change anything if you signed a retainer. Therefore, there are a few things you want to make sure they’re on the same page as you before moving forward;

Expectations

Most agencies know in general what most businesses are trying to accomplish by hiring them. However, you should fully explain what your expectations are to ensure they overlap with theirs. Otherwise, you could be wasting your time and money.

Explain Everything

And we mean everything. A common issue that prevents businesses from having the maximum success they can with Facebook Ads is they don’t give the ad agency a complete picture of their business. This means it’s tough to know what the best approach for them is.
Unless you’re hiring a generalist agency, they may not be able to provide an all-encompassing solution without this information. As such, here are some things that will help them with you explaining;

  • What your business sells, and how much of each product do you sell?
  • What are your top-selling products or services in terms of revenue?
  • When does most traffic arrive at your site: weekdays during peak hours or weekends during off-peak hours?
  • How many campaigns have you run on Facebook with success before now?
  • Have these been targeted towards new customers only or existing as well (with different audiences)?
  • If targeting existing customers, where did those leads come from before Facebook?
  • Is there a specific Facebook campaign goal you’re aiming for (new customer acquisition, engagement through awareness campaigns, conversion rate optimization)? What is the average cost-per-click, and what has that been like in previous successful Facebook campaigns?

These are just some of the questions your agency should be asking to ensure their strategy will work. Just as no two businesses are alike, not every social media campaign or marketing plan needs to contain all these factors. However, if they don’t know this information offhand, then it’s unlikely they’ll be as successful with your campaign as they would’ve been had you given as much info as possible.
It’s important to align expectations of work, so there’s no confusion or dissatisfaction later down the line. If you expect them to be upfront, honest, and work hard for your business from the very beginning, you should do the same.

Questions To Ask During The Interview
Now that you’ve told them all that you can about your business, it’s time to ask them a few questions as well. Some of the more critical questions you should get answered include;

  • Do they have experience with Facebook Ads in your industry and/or niche & e-commerce sites.
  • Does the agency offer a free consultation to help you determine if their services are right for you?
  • How much will my campaign cost for Facebook Ads, and how often are budgets updated?
  • What is the success rate of their campaigns, i.e., how many clicks or conversions do they generate per dollar spent on ads
  • Do they post new content to keep your audience engaged, or is this not something they do? (i.e., blog posts, videos, infographics)
  • What types of payment plans does the company offer – monthly retainer fee vs. pay-as-you-go
  • Is there an opportunity for collaboration between you and other clients
  • Can you see examples of past campaigns that were successful for clients like me who have similar budgets?

After you’ve gotten those questions answered, you’ll have a much better feel if they’re a good fit for you and your business.
Working with a Facebook Ads agency is collaborative. You should feel comfortable asking any questions that come to mind about how their company operates, what they can do for your business, etc. You want to work with someone who has an open-door policy where there’s always time to ask questions or provide feedback on campaigns currently running. Overall, hiring a Facebook Ads Agency for your e-commerce business is a key step in growing your business and boosting sales. And remember, if your competitors are already doing it, they’re a few steps ahead of you so start today.

10 New Business Owner Tips

January 13, 2021 By dillon Leave a Comment

The first thing all business owners tend to do before opening their businesses is seeking for advice. With this in mind, the truth is that when researching for business tips, you will get so many to a point where it may be overwhelming to any business owner.

After getting feedback from multiple business owners, we have learned that different business tips apply to various situations depending on the business stage. Furthermore, the truth is that there isn’t a defined or a formula to begin a small business. According to the knowledge and experience of the entrepreneurs we spoke to, all the best business ideas are designed to help you think in a specific new way. For this reason, below is a list of the ten best tips for starting a new business you may not have heard of.

Opening and running a trade is usually a learn-as-you-go experience; however, the wisest action was taken on early, the better the chance you have of being successful.

1. Simplicity

If you are an entrepreneur, then chances are you have a business idea and ready to take the necessary steps to run with it. However, the problem is that many entrepreneurs tend to let their ideas snowball into something complicated. If the concept is applied to a business, the entrepreneur may end up with a very expensive elaborate end-product that no one is interested in or needs.

“It is wise to avoid overcomplicating things and make it as simple as possible” was a quote we received from Alex Becker CEO Of Hyros. Therefore, if you are starting a new business, try starting small and narrow your focus. Do not forget to learn how to test your business ideas. Also, create a simple but of good quality product or service. Any successful business idea is one that fulfills a customer’s needs and even exceeds their expectations.

For this reason, avoid unnecessary features that will affect your business, increase product cost, or creating a product not needed by the customer. Remember, you are starting small and therefore do not need all the whistles and bells of a giant company. Consider adding and improving your service or product as your business grows.

2. Understand And Follow All Legal Requirements

Starting a business is an exciting adventure, but laws are not, and this is a fact. Nevertheless, you have to follow both state and local rules governing your business niche. Remember, if you fail to follow the law, you may face steep penalties.

Remember, you must also include the legal structure and accounting system. as such, you have to register the business with the state, take care of business required tax liabilities, and when employing workers, you have to follow employment laws.

Remember, different businesses have different rules and regulations which must be followed. Also, laws that apply to your business will depend on your stage and business structure. To know more about your business law requirements, consider talking to a small business accountant as you set up the company.

3. Absorbing everything

When it comes to business, what others say about your business matters the most, it does not matter if it is positive or negative; consume it all. What are your friends, family, and experts saying about your business? As an entrepreneur, you have goals, which you must work on, and a great way to achieve them is by listening to what people are saying about the business. I a nutshell, be a sponge.

Do not put every idea said in your mind; consider writing down everything. When to talk to people about your startup, read their body language. Are they nice, or do they like your idea? Encourage everyone to be honest with you. It is important to note the way your peers are reacting is the same way your potential customers will react.

Never ignore advice as there is power in it, especially from experts and business owner’s veterans. They fully know what works and what does not. A smart business owner learns from the mistakes of others.

4. Address Excuses

Many people dream of becoming entrepreneurs but never take the initiative. Such a person has a lot of excuses and fear of failing. Such a person gives excuses starting from responsibilities, time, money, and more for not starting the business.

The truth is that being one’s boss is frightening. That is mainly because a new business has a lot to lose with a very little chance of success. As such, they are worried about the risk, which is typically normal. However, excuses will only slow your goals.

Therefore, if you truly want to start your business, address the reasons you think why you cannot start and work on that. In other words, find a solution to the issues rather than holding back.

5. Cost Calculation

Cost calculation is very important and must be done accurately. In other words, you have to factor everything from launching to operation. Therefore, the moment you have developed an idea, consider adding up the cost. You must keep the following cost into mind, rent, supplies, marketing, location, and others.

The goal is to come up with the most accurate number possible. Then take that number you have gotten and multiply by three. This is very serious. Starting a business comes with many unexpected costs of running a business. Therefore, to avoid going out of business, consider having a safety net.

Also, do not forget to calculate or include personal costs. Why include a personal budget? Well, remember, when starting a business, you still need to meet your primary needs. These are needs, such as food, drinks, rent, gas, healthcare, and others. Write all primary expenses starting with the most important (like food and rent) to those you can do without (such as entertainment).

Once you have identified personal cost, it is time to come up with a budget. If you experience a cash problem, do not hesitate to go for small business loans. In a nutshell, go over your options before putting all your money into a startup.

6. Talk To People About Your Business

The biggest challenge many people face is that they do not know how to sell. That is mainly because it can be intimidating to talk about your business, especially when you are new to it. Another reason is when the person is worried about what others will think about their business idea. Well, if you are such a person and wish to start a new business, then it is time to get over it.

You cannot make money if you cannot convince consumers to buy from you or support your company. Force yourself to speak to others if you are shy to talk to others. With a new business, you cannot afford to be shy.

This is something I experienced and battled with. In my early days, I was shy to speak to people about my business. However, I knew that somehow I had to overcome the fear and, so, I did face it. I went out to public speaking events, and a day came where I had to face more than 70 people in a three-day convention and talk about my business. Mind you, I did not have experience in public speaking or had done it before. So I worked up my courage and powered through like a champ.

Therefore, if you truly believe in your business, get ready to speak confidently about your business, even if it is uncomfortable for you. Remember, for you to succeed, you must constantly market your business and build a strong network.

7. Think About Solutions

When starting a business, rather than thinking of what to sell, consider thinking about what you can solve for potential customers. When your business is solving problems, you can easily gain a solid customer base. Your idea should fill a hole in a specific niche or market.

For example, I did not create Patriot Software because I can create Software or simply have a passion for Software. NO! I simply wanted to solve a problem in which many small business owners are facing. Therefore, after doing a bit of research, I realized that small businesses need affordable and simple to use payroll and accounting software.

For this reason, identify your reason for starting the business. What are your motives? Can your brand help consumers? Identify a problem and target customers facing that problem by offering a solution to that problem.

8. Create A Balance Between Passion And Wisdom

A majority of entrepreneurs start their businesses simply because they have a passion for a specific thing or item. In other words, passion is an important ingredient to a successful business idea. That is because passion drives a person to improve and grow constantly.

For example, if you are passionate about fashion, then you can be a good fashion designer. This is what will drive your business to success.

However, never allow your passion to override everything. Remember, passion will drive your business forward, but knowledge will point the business in the right direction.

For this reason, it is wise to conduct market research on your industry, communicate with targeted customers, and listen to what experts are saying to identify your business’s potential. Ask questions and try to know as much as possible about the industry. Do not forget to reach out to professionals like lawyers and financial advisors.

9. Earn As You Build

If you want to start a small business, it is not recommended to quit your current day job to start the business. This is because starting a small business is a process that must be done in stages. For this reason, you should consider transitioning gradually from employee to business owner.

Take note: it will take time for a small business to bring in a steady income. Therefore, do not quit your nine-to-five job but rather consider working on your business during off-hours. The moment you begin receiving a steady flow of income, then you can deal with the business full-time.

10. Imagine Yourself With Zero Amount Of Money

The term ZERO means having nothing. Why assume you have a ZERO amount of money? Well, it all comes down to making it. If you research today, a majority of small businesses do not make it in the long run. Remember, starting an unsuccessful business is a reality for many people. In fact, almost half of new businesses fail within the first five years of opening.

It’s also important to create a plan of ‘Just In Case The Worse Happens.’ You may consider looking for a temporary job or live with your parents temporarily. You can also decide to go without life comforts to stabilize. In a nutshell, come up with a plan of how you will get by if your business becomes unsuccessful. Prepare yourself for all situations and scenarios if the business idea does not work.
