La sutileza es de una fuerza poderosa e ineludible en las manos del puertorriqueño Tony Bechara.  En su trabajo gráfico aparecen artificios, filigranas, juegos ópticos, rompecabezas meticulosamente diseñados para que el ojo se deleitara ante un calidoscopio inteligente  que constantemente transformara los tonos cromáticos, convirtiéndolos en musicales.

Múltiples vibraciones, casi sonoras, y no menos esplendorosas para el asombro visual, se advierten luego de una segunda mirada: Reverberaciones, ilusión óptica, percepciones equívocas y oníricas se entrelazan en la urdimbre cuidadosa y tonal de sus pinturas y serigrafías, que bien nos recuerdan a un tapiz persa que a las texturas de un mapa geodésico.

Tony Bechara no solo es un gran artista gráfico y pintor puertorriqueño. El promueve, desde posiciones señeras, el desarrollo y la proyección del arte y de la cultura latinoamericana en los Estados Unidos y en el mundo.
